Buzzy Crocker is one of the main protagonists in Tower of Terror, and the junior novel version based off the television movie Tower of Terror.
Crocker was in a serious relationship with Jill Perry. He was a front page writer for The Los Angeles Banner, until in 1992 he was approached with a "hot" story. A video tape that showed the mayor of Los Angeles taking a bribe from the mob.
The video was a fake, Crocker was fired. As a result he lost his girlfriend, and was fired, demoted to writing for second rate news sources such was The National Inquisitor, and The Global Enquirer.
